Pamela Cooke Scheel |
J. Matthew Scheel
Owners | Licensed Real Estate Broker | Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate
Pam and Matt are the owners of Sundance Rental Management which currently manages over 1,600 long term rental properties and has an ever growing staff of over 20 employees.
Matt was born in Peoria, Illinois and is a US Air Force Veteran. He spent 15 years as a builder/contractor and met his wife Pam after moving to the Emerald Coast. Three years later he left his contracting business to help his wife with her property management business and quickly received his Real Estate Broker License. Matt and Pam have worked side-by-side growing their business and raising their family. Their daughter, son, son-in-law, and daughter-in-law are now also carrying on the family business.
Pam is a native of Fort Walton Beach and grew up having her father actively involved in the real estate industry. In 1977, following college, Pam received her Real Estate Sales Associate License and went to work with her father's real estate business. She began managing a few properties for out of state owners and quickly moved from sales to full time professional property management as more and more properties were referred to her from owners and other sales associates. Pam has a GRI designation, was Realtor Associate of the year and has been recognized as a leader in her profession.
Blake
Business Operations Director | Licensed Real Estate Broker
Blake is a native of Northwest Florida where he graduated from The University of West Florida with a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Professional Studies majoring in Recreation, Resort, and Hospitality Management. Blake spent 8 years in the restaurant business before he joined the Sundance team. Since beginning his career at Sundance in 2007 he has obtained his Real Estate Broker License and enjoys managing the business’ operations.
Susan

Susan is a Fort Walton Beach native and the daughter of owners, Matt and Pam Scheel. She has been working with the company since 2007 and obtained her Real Estate Sales Associate License in 2010. Susan takes pride in growing the company as the new business development director and upholding the standards, policies, procedures, and legacy that her parents have founded. She is married to Blake, the Business Operations Director here at Sundance and they have two active boys. Susan enjoys building relationships with the community and is motivated to continue her parents’ excellence in the property management business as well as their community involvement.

Business Operations Coordinator
Leasing Director
Tricia was born and raised in Fort Walton Beach Beach. After graduating from Fort Walton Beach Beach High School, she earned her associate's degree in Business Management. Her extensive work experience includes many years in office management, various areas of real estate, and bookkeeping, which got her hired on the spot in 2006. She has enjoyed helping the company grow and prosper over the years and looks forward to continued learning and instilling new and additional practices to make work easier and more proficient. Sundance has watched her last three children grow into smart and talented young adults. Tricia definitely considers Sundance Rentals THE "Best Place to Work".

Hi, I’m Lauren! Originally from New Jersey, I made the move to sunny Florida in 2019 and have been thriving in the real estate industry for the past two years, specializing in property management. I take pride in helping property owners and tenants navigate the rental market with ease, ensuring a seamless experience for all. Outside of work, I’m a proud mom to a wonderful little boy and two adventurous Aussies. You can find us exploring new places or enjoying the outdoors.
Jessika
Business Operations Assistant
Jessika was born and raised right here in Fort Walton Beach and loves living on the emerald coast enjoying the crystal-clear beaches. She started in the property management business in 2011 while she was still in high school, and graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School the home of the Vikings in 2013. After a few years in property management, Jessika took a 2-year break and followed her passion for early childhood development and became a preschool teacher. She then made her way right back into property management and continued to grow her knowledge in the field. She truly enjoys helping customers find their perfect home, whether it be permanent or temporary. Four years went by and she found an opportunity to make the switch and join the team here at Sundance to have more growth and more opportunities to still do what she loves. Sundance has made her feel so welcome since the day she started and is so happy to have the privilege to be a part of such an inclusive and loving team.
LAura
Business Operations Assistant
Laura was raised in Pace, FL before meeting her husband and moving to his home state of California. She has enjoyed raising her two beautiful children there, as well as the experience she gained as a real estate agent for 3 years and a property manager for 5. In 2017, she was blessed with the opportunity to return to her home state of Florida with her husband. Laura is excited to join the Sundance team and to contribute to the company's continued success.

Rick was born and raised in Fort Walton Beach and graduated from Choctawhatchee Highschool. Rick enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and is a loyal Florida State Fan “Fear the Spear”! He has been with the company full time for over 10 years and has grown up in the business being the son of Owner’s Matt and Pam Scheel. Rick started his career overseeing the maintenance department and worked his way up to Property Manager after obtaining his Real Estate Sales Associate License in 2013. Rick started by managing a portfolio of 235 units in the Fort Walton Beach area. He obtained his Broker’s License in 2017 and is looking forward to his future and growth within the company as the Destin Broker Associate.
Kim
Mary Esther/ Fort Walton Beach Area Property Manager | Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate
Originally from Missouri, Kim was transferred to Fort Walton Beach in 2007 with her job. After years of managing multiple tax offices, Kim decided it was time for a change and was welcomed into the Sundance team as a property manager. She has been with Sundance since 2012 and looks forward to many more years to come.
Ashley
Navarre/Gulf Breeze/Milton Area Property Manager | Licensed Real Estate Broker Associate
After her father's retirement from the United States Air Force, Ashley moved to Florida with her family and fell in love with the Emerald Coast. She graduated from the University of West Florida in 2007 and worked in the hospitality field before joining our Sundance team in 2012. Ashley obtained her Real Estate Broker License in 2022 and really enjoys ensuring both tenants and owners feel that their best interest is being looked after. Ashley continues to push herself to provide the best customer service and is excited about her growth within the company.

Crestview Area Property Manager | Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate
Alisha, originally from Colorado, has lived across the country and overseas, gaining a wealth of experience and perspective along the way. Now calling the Emerald Coast home, she brings over 15 years of expertise in the property management industry. Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation for her commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and ability to foster positive relationships with both property owners and tenants. At Sundance, Alisha is dedicated to providing outstanding service, ensuring that properties are well-managed and tenants feel at home. Her goal is not only to maintain high standards of care and efficiency but also to contribute to the company's growth by enhancing client satisfaction and optimizing property performance. She takes pride in her ability to problem-solve, communicate effectively, and create lasting value for both investors and residents.
Tammy
Fort Walton Beach Area Property Manager | Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate
Tammy moved to Fort Walton Beach 20 years ago from Enterprise Alabama. Tammy has moved from the short term rentals and customer service field into long term rental management. Tammy says, "The best part about my job is helping tenants find the perfect home and helping owners to find the perfect tenants!” She has been with the Sundance team since August 2013 and is looking forward to a bright future with the company.

Beverly moved to the Fort Walton Beach area in 1980 and loved it so much she stayed. She's been employed in the real estate industry for many years and has experience in real estate sales, mortgage lending, and is now looking forward to a career in property management.

Shalimar Property Manager | Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate
Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Brittany has always believed that home is more than just a place, it’s a feeling. A devoted mother to two daughters, her “mermaids,” she followed her love for the water to the Emerald Coast, where she planted roots in 2009 and never looked back. With over 20 years of experience in real estate and property management, Brittany is passionate about helping others find their perfect home, whether it’s a beachfront retreat or a forever community. Outside of work, she enjoys chasing sunsets, soaking up live music, traveling or planning her next adventure in paradise she’s grateful to call home.
Kaylan
Fort Walton Beach Area Property Manager | Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate
Kaylan was born and raised in Fort Walton Beach and is a true native of the Emerald Coast. She is a Choctaw Grad “Go Green!”. She has her LPN license and graduated from Northwest Florida State College with her Associates in Pre-Nursing. Kaylan enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going to the beach and shopping. She has been in the customer service industry for 8 years and the vacation rentals industry for 4 years giving her great skills to contribute to our company. She strives to provide everyone with a top-notch experience and to solve all problems in a timely fashion. Kaylan is a true asset to the Sundance Team and she is looking forward to growing and developing with our company.
Tabatha
Maintenance Coordinator
Tabatha was born and raised in Oklahoma. After vacationing all along the Emerald Coast, she decided this was the place she wanted to call home and moved here with her fiancé and her daughter just 5 months ago. Tabatha loves cooking, reading and spending time at the beach. She is very excited to start this new chapter in her life and be a part of the Sundance family. She loves her job and strives to provide the best customer service and assistance to all of our clients. Tabatha is looking forward to many years of growth and opportunity here at Sundance Rental Management.
Sarah
Maintenance Coordinator
Sarah has been a military spouse for over twenty years. She is now looking forward to the next phase of her life with her devoted husband and best friend, Beau. Their sons are in the Air Force, college, and high school. She has also been using her military lifestyle to bring an additional understanding to her work as a maintenance coordinator since 2020 and is looking forward to growing her career, and herself, as a member of the Sundance team.
Jovi
Maintenance Coordinator
Jovi is a Filipina who works remotely from the Philippines. She had been part of a BPO company for five years and had served as a customer service representative for a US Telco account before she decided to take her chance as a virtual assistant with Sundance. She loves Korean barbecue and going on beach trips (although she never learned how to swim!). She is easily fascinated and enjoys trying out new things. She's grateful to be Sundance's first virtual assistant and she looks forward to being with the company for a long time.
KAT
Maintenance Coordinator
Kat grew up in Southwest Virginia and was stationed here in 1999. She loved the area so much that she moved back in 2009. Kat is a mom to three great kids, ages 25, 19. and 15. She enjoys traveling, reading, crocheting, and learning sign language. She is a Gold Star spouse and a Veteran who has been in customer service since joining the military in 1993.
Abby
Accounting Manager
Abby grew up in Massachusetts but has been living in the area since 1976. She graduated with honors from High School and took courses through Cornell University in Business Management. She has over 35 years experience in accounting and enjoys working with people. She loves the easy going atmosphere at Sundance and the feeling that everyone is Family, not just employees.
April
First Impressions Coordinator
April is originally from Nebraska but has resided on the Emerald Coast for 29 years. She is the mom of 2 handsome sons and a beautiful daughter. April has 20 years’ experience working with the public. When she's not traveling for soccer with her youngest son, she enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family. April is excited to bring her expansive customer service knowledge and positive attitude to our team.
Jen
Marketing Department
Jen is a Filipina who works remotely from the Philippines. In college, she majored in Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She enjoys her alone time by watching TV series or listening to music on Spotify. She's also a great admirer of a Kpop group, and she enjoys watching them perform live and hopes to attend one of their concerts. Prior to being a VA, she was in the BPO industry for over 10 years for Financial Companies. When a pandemic struck the world, she realized she wanted to work from home full-time so she could spend more time with her parents. She is grateful for the opportunity to work as a virtual assistant for Sundance Rental Management and aspires to remain with us for a long time.
